General Practitioner Advanced CertificatesThe General Practitioner Advanced Certificate has been developed for Veterinary professionals who wish to advance their knowledge, progress their academic qualifications and gain recognition in their field. In partnership with Improve International and Harper Adams University, the GPAdvCert programme is designed for veterinary surgeons who have already completed a General Practitioner Certificate (GPCert) or Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) and wish to deepen their knowledge.
To be eligible to sit the Nurses Certificate examination, candidates must complete the ISVPS accredited course of study with Improve International. In addition to the taught modular programme, candidates are required to complete further study in their own time as well as submitting various pieces of course work and sitting a final written examination. Please refer to the individual subject for further information.
You can attend the modules if you are registered with the RCVS as a student veterinary nurse and or not in practice; however, you will not be able to attain the NCert qualification.

The Foundation Certificate (FCert) is a new ISVPS award aimed at refreshing and building on knowledge gained during undergraduate studies and continuing professional development. The certificate is also ideal as an addition to other more extensive ones, such as the GPCert award, to enhance the knowledge in that specific area of interest. It was developed for veterinary professionals attending a fast-track program wishing to gain a first step, middle-tier, peer recognised qualification.
