General Practitioner Certificates
The ISVPS General Practitioner Certificate (GPCert) is a recognised higher education qualification demonstrating that you have achieved the required standard within a designated subject. It shows that you have achieved a deeper and more thorough understanding in your area of interest which can be applied to general practice.

General Practitioner Advanced Certificates
The GPAdvCert is suitable for qualified veterinary surgeons with an ISVPS GPCert in the relevant discipline, who are looking to build on existing knowledge and develop an enhanced awareness and more in-depth approach in the subject. The GPAdvCert is awarded to veterinary surgeons who successfully pass our assessments following the completion of a dedicated modular training programme with our accredited training provider. This ensures that you are provided with the highest quality of appropriate practical and clinically relevant training to prepare you for undertaking the GPCert assessments.

Master General Practitioner Certificate
The new ISVPS Master General Practitioner (MGP) award is the highest level of clinical qualification in primary care veterinary practice, awarded to veterinary surgeons who successfully pass our assessments following the completion of My Veterinary Career with our accredited training provider Improve International.

Lead Veterinary Nurse Practitioner Certificate
The new ISVPS Lead Veterinary Nurse Practitioner (LVN) award is the highest level of clinical qualification in primary care veterinary practice, awarded to veterinary nurses and technicians who successfully pass our assessments following the completion of My Veterinary Career with our accredited training provider Improve International.

Veterinary Nurse, Technician and Paraprofessional Certificates
To be eligible to sit the to Veterinary Nurse, Technician or Paraprofessional Certificate examination, candidates must complete the ISVPS accredited course of study with Improve International. In addition to the taught modular programme, candidates are required to complete further study in their own time as well as submitting course work and sitting a final online examination. Please refer to the individual subject for further information.
Qualified veterinary nurses are eligible to achieve a Nurses certificate (NCert), qualified veterinary Technicians are eligible to achieve a veterinary technicians certificate (VTCert) and veterinary staff who meet the required criteria are eligible to achieve a veterinary paraprofessional certificate (VPPCert).

Veterinary Technician Certificate
Veterinary specialists are encouraged to assume responsibility in various situations in everyday practice. This role makes the TFA irreplaceable help in practice and it is often their first contact with patients and owners. Our program for additional qualification for TFA (Veterinary Technicians) was developed in order to consolidate a solid basis in the field of anesthesia assistance, while at the same time conveying important innovations relating to anesthesia in everyday practice. Supported by the experienced speakers, whose lectures address all the important points about modern anesthesia with infectious enthusiasm, the interactive learning atmosphere can be used ideally. After completing the course program, an examination at the ISVPS is also possible, with the passing of which an internationally recognized VTCert (Veterinary Technician Certificate) is awarded.Veterinary Technician Certificate
