Congratulations to Georgia Stone, ISVPS Academic and Partnerships Manager, on achieving her Postgraduate Advanced Certificate in Educational Studies: Educational Assessment from the University of Cambridge (in association with Cambridge Assessment).

Over 15 months Georgia has been studying part time towards this Level 7 qualification run in partnership by the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education and Cambridge Assessment Network. As a practice-based course, she has already been able to apply her new expertise on all things assessment, along with knowledge gained from earlier qualifications, including an undergraduate degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences from the University of Nottingham.

Not only does Georgia now have an even better understanding of educational assessment methods and practices she can use to improve our qualifications and processes, she also has valuable insight into the needs of our candidates, having gone through a similar process herself.

On gaining her new postgraduate qualification, Georgia said, “For me, the most noticeable change has been to my confidence – I now feel I can be much more assertive when contributing to projects and expressing my opinion in the workplace.”

As part of our commitment to the professional development of our own staff (as well as veterinary professionals around the world), ISVPS is delighted to have been able to support Georgia through her studies and we are very proud of her achievement.
