Information about the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies<\/strong><br \/>\nThe International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS) is the trading name of International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12625364 and VAT number GB 372395967 with registered office at Ground Floor, Delta 1200, Welton Road, Delta Business Park, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN57XZ, UK (\u201cISVPS\u201d).<\/p>\n<p><strong>B. Contract Terms<\/strong><br \/>\nISVPS agree to provide services to customers according to the following terms and conditions and Policies mentioned in this document. These constitute the contract between ISVPS and its customers and must be read together with any other documents explicitly agreed to be part of this contract such as the enrolment form and the invoice.<br \/>\nBy purchasing\/enrolling onto any of our services either via our website or via our partners\u2019 websites, you agree to these terms and conditions.ISVPS is also a partner with global training providers who may include fee for our services within their overall fees as Improve International Ltd..<\/p>\n<p>ISVPS operates the website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\">www.isvps.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For the purposes of these terms and conditions \u201cwe\u201d, \u201cus\u201d, or \u201cour\u201d refers to ISVPS, and \u201cyou\u201d or \u201cyour\u201d refers to the Customer or Candidate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 1 &#8211; Definitions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following definitions apply in these terms and conditions, unless otherwise stated and shall have the meaning given below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cAssessment\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; The action of assessing a person, which may involve various assessment methods (Formative and Summative) and delivery formats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cCandidate\u201d<\/strong> \u2013an individual person enrolled for an ISVPS Assessment that meets the requirements set out by ISVPS and who will receive the Services pursuant to the Contract.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cContract\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 the agreement between the parties under which ISVPS provides Services to the Customer and\/or Candidate, which incorporates the Terms and Conditions, the Enrolment Form, Invoice, ISVPS <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\/p\/en\/privacy-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Privacy Policy<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and any other applicable schedules, attachments, annexures and statements of work relating to the Services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cCustomer\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 any legal entity or individual person who completes an Enrolment Form to enrol their employees as Candidates, or to enrol themselves (as the case may be) to purchase one or more of the Services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cEnrolment\u00a0Form\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 the form filled in by the Candidate electronically, with the data requested therein, including (without limitation) the choice of the Service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cExamination\/ Exam\u201d<\/strong>&#8211; A formal test of a Candidate\u00a0knowledge or proficiency in a subject or skill.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cFees\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 are the amounts related to the Services purchased and confirmed in the invoice sent by ISVPS to the Candidate or the Customer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cISVPS\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS) is the trading name of International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12625364 and with our registered office at Ground Floor, Delta 1200, Welton Road, Delta Business Park, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN57XZ, UK which, in accordance with and subject to these Terms and Conditions, is the provider of the Services;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cServices\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Any and all assessments made available at any given time by ISVPS and supplied to the Candidate pursuant to the Contract as detailed in Article 2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cTerms and Conditions\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 ISVPS\u2019s terms and conditions set out in this document, which shall govern the relationship between the parties.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 2 &#8211; Services<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2. ISVPS will use all reasonable endeavours to:<\/p>\n<p>2.1 Create, deliver and mark Assessments associated with ISVPS accredited programmes;<\/p>\n<p>2.2 Issue the certificates of relevant ISVPS qualifications for the Candidates who pass all required Assessments;<\/p>\n<p>2.3 Provide to Candidates, via MyImprove Hub (ISVPS Section), the Guidelines on Assessment Structure and Assessment Delivery and Marking. ISVPS reserves the right to change these guidelines under exceptional circumstances, but, if this is necessary, will provide as much notice as is reasonably practicable to Candidates.<\/p>\n<p>2.4 Mark the assessments and issue the results to Candidates. These results are released online (via MyImprove Hub);<\/p>\n<p>2.5 Information on pass marks and marks awarded for Examinations \/ Assessments are provided within the guidelines found on MyImprove Hub.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 3 \u2013 ISVPS Obligations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3. ISVPS shall:<\/p>\n<p>3.1 Provide Services with reasonable diligence and care;<\/p>\n<p>3.2 Maintain the confidentiality of any confidential information provided to it by the Candidate and expressly indicated by the Candidate as being confidential information;<\/p>\n<p>3.3 Provide adequate security in accordance with applicable national legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU);<\/p>\n<p>3.4 Comply with the ISVPS <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\/p\/en\/privacy-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Privacy Policy<\/span> <\/strong><\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.improveinternational.com\/cookie_policy.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cookies Policy<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, which sets out how personal information provided to ISVPS by the Customer is obtained and processed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 4 \u2013 ISVPS Candidates Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for ISVPS Services, the following points apply:<\/p>\n<p>4.1 Candidates must complete the necessary number of modules as stated in the Enrolment Handbook available on MyImprove Hub;<\/p>\n<p>4.2 If the taught modules of the course end less than two months prior to the ISVPS final Examination, a Candidate may choose to sit the final Examination at the first available opportunity. If the Candidate prefers to sit the final Examination with less than two months\u2019 revision time, the Candidate acknowledges and accepts that the length of revision time prior to an Examination cannot be used as grounds for appeal;<\/p>\n<p>4.3 Candidates must complete the appropriate Enrolment Form;<\/p>\n<p>4.4 Payment of the Examinations and \/ or Assessment fees must have been received by ISVPS in accordance with Article 6 below;<\/p>\n<p>4.5 Candidates must comply with all ISVPS Candidate Examination and Assessment Guidelines and Requirements for Remote Proctoring available on MyImprove Hub.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 5 \u2013 Provision of Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5.1 The Customer acknowledges that it is mandatory for the Customer or Candidate (as the case may be) to provide certain personal data in order to complete the Contract in accordance with B above and receive the Services.<\/p>\n<p>5.2 By enrolling for the provision of a Service, the Customer undertakes to provide the information requested in the Enrolment Form, or other information that may be required by other means and that ISVPS considers necessary for the provision of the Service requested. ISVPS may ask the Customer for evidence of its eligibility to enrol for a Service, such as details of their professional membership and\/or registration number, or education certificates. In the event that the Customer or any Candidate is deemed by ISVPS to be ineligible, ISVPS shall issue a refund for any Service fees that the Customer has paid in respect of Services that the Customer and\/or Candidate has not received.<\/p>\n<p>5.3 The information provided by the Customer must be true, accurate, up to date and complete, including, but not limited to, information relating to the requirements necessary for the attendance at any Service to which the Customer subscribes.<\/p>\n<p>5.4 The Customer must, whenever there is a change to the information provided, update it immediately.<\/p>\n<p>5.5 Under the terms of the preceding paragraphs of this Article 5, ISVPS may rely on the information provided by the Customer without any need to satisfy itself as to its accuracy, completeness or partiality.<\/p>\n<p>5.6 ISVPS will treat the personal information referred in this Article 5 in accordance with its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\/p\/en\/privacy-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Privacy Policy<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 6 \u2013 Fees and Payment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6.1 The price of each Service is the price presented by ISVPS and confirmed in the Invoice issued to the Candidate or the Customer (\u201cService Price\u201d), which must be paid by the Customer at the time and according to the payment methods presented for each Service.<\/p>\n<p>6.2 Candidates must register and pay in full for the Service by the date given by ISVPS (proof of payment may be required). This fee is non-refundable.<\/p>\n<p>6.3 When buying ISVPS Services through a third party (such as Improve International) the Customer shall fulfil the payment terms defined in the T&amp;Cs.<\/p>\n<p>6.4 The Customer or Candidate must pay the Service Price within the timeframes communicated by ISVPS at the time of registration or as otherwise specified in the payment instructions provided. If payment is not made in accordance with those instructions, ISVPS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold the provision of the Services until all required payments have been received from the Customer and\/or Candidate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 7 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Important<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Examination Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>7.1 Remote examinations may incur additional Fees. These shall not be reimbursed nor postponed or transferred, unless expressly agreed in writing with ISVPS, and will be charged in each remote Examination enrolment.<\/p>\n<p>7.2 Candidates may opt for receiving printed certificates. Certificates reprints incur an additional fee.<\/p>\n<p>7.3 Candidates will not be entitled to any type of refund or credit Fees, expenses or any other type of compensation from ISVPS.<\/p>\n<p>7.4 Candidates who sit the final Examination or written Assessment, but are unsuccessful, will re-sit the Examination or submit the written Assessment at the next opportunity. Candidates must follow the written Assessment Guidelines for resubmission on MyImprove Hub. A re-sit fee is payable, and details of re-registration procedures will be available to unsuccessful Candidates upon request. Candidates are permitted a maximum of three attempts to pass all written Assessments and Examination components.<\/p>\n<p>7.5 ISVPS Assessments requirements must be satisfied within seven calendar years of the start of the first module or within four Assessment opportunities of the end of the last module, whichever occurs soonest.<\/p>\n<p>7.6 All Candidates completing the Foundation certificate in Emergency and critical care will have a maximum of three attempts to successfully pass the Examination within two years of the first being given access to the programme. If Candidates are given an extension of a year, then they still have to pass the exam within two years of when they FIRST were given access.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates are required to wait two weeks before taking any second\/third attempt at the Examination.<\/p>\n<p>7.7 Candidates wishing to withdraw from the certification process must do so by providing a written withdrawal request to ISVPS. If a Candidate withdraws and later decides to re-register for the same certification, they must adhere to the original time frame that would have applied had they not withdrawn. A re-registration fee will also be required. Please note that withdrawal may result in a loss of Examination opportunities due to the limited time remaining to complete the certification.<\/p>\n<p>7.8 Candidates have the right to appeal an Examination\/Assessment decision published by ISVPS, via the ISVPS <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\/p\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ISVPS-Academic-Appeals-Policy-and-Procedure-2025-2027-9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Academic Appeals Policy and Procedure<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, available on MyImprove Hub.<\/p>\n<p>7.9 Candidates may not appeal against the academic judgement of examiners, for example claiming that the marks awarded were too low. Neither can a Candidate appeal because they did not understand, or were not aware of, ISVPS regulations and procedures as set out in their MyImprove Hub, or provided by ISVPS teams, or ISVPS Terms and Conditions. Appeals can only be made according to the grounds stipulated within ISVPS<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\/p\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ISVPS-Academic-Appeals-Policy-and-Procedure-2025-2027-9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Academic Appeals Policy and Procedure<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>7.10 By enrolling for the Assessments, Candidates agree to be bound by the ISVPS <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\/p\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ISVPS-Examination-and-Assessment-Regulations.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Examination and Assessment Regulations<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and these Terms and Conditions. If a Candidate is found to be in breach of any of the Assessment Regulations, they may become liable to disciplinary actions and attendant sanctions, in accordance with the ISVPS academic <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\/p\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ISVPSAcademicMisconductPolicyandProcess.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Misconduct Policy and Process<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>7.11 The Candidate understands and agrees that certification may be revoked, at any time, and the Candidate may be excluded from any future ISVPS certification, in the event that ISVPS, in its sole discretion, determines that:<\/p>\n<p>7.11.1 any information contained in the application or Examination is false or contains material misrepresentations or omissions;<\/p>\n<p>7.11.2 any Assessment item submitted has not complied with these Terms and Conditions or any other guidelines for the items being assessed;<\/p>\n<p>7.11.3 any deliberate misconduct, irregularity, or fraud is found in any of the Assessment items before, during, or after the conduct of the assessment and the reporting of the results.<\/p>\n<p>7.12 The Examination and all related activities are the responsibility of ISVPS, rather than the training provider, and any correspondence or appeals related to the Examination must therefore be directed to ISVPS as described above.<\/p>\n<p>7.13 Successful Candidates will have their name placed in the ISVPS register, which is available publicly. If Candidates do not wish for their name to appear in the ISVPS register, they shall\u00a0choose this option in their ISVPS MyImprove Hub.<\/p>\n<p>7.14 By registering for the ISVPS Examination Candidates are granting ISVPS a free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, global, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, translate, and modify the submitted written Assessment in any media, printed or digital.<\/p>\n<p>7.15 The Candidate certifies that they are the exclusive author and sole owner of the copyright of the submitted written Assessment and do not infringe upon, violate, or misappropriate any copyright or other intellectual property rights, or any other proprietary right, contract or other right or interest of any third party.<\/p>\n<p>7.16 Personal possessions and valuables are the responsibility of the Candidates at all times, and at all venues ISVPS will not accept any liability for the loss of or damage to personal possessions and valuables.<\/p>\n<p>7.17 The Candidate acknowledges and agrees that ISVPS may use third-party artificial intelligence software and related technologies for the purposes of monitoring, detecting, and preventing potential plagiarism, copying, fraud, or any other irregularities in connection with Assessments and Examinations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article\u00a0<\/strong><strong>8<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u2013 Email Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ISVPS routinely uses e-mail as the preferred means of communication with the Customer and for sending documentation, including (without limitation) invoices. ISVPS regular virus checks of the computer systems which are used for this purpose. Whilst ISVPS shall use all reasonable endeavours to prevent the transmission of known viruses, the Customer and or Candidate<u>\u00a0<\/u>should also check all incoming electronic messages for viruses and use appropriate anti-virus protection software to monitor its files, e-mail messages and their attachments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article\u00a0<\/strong><strong>9<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u2013 Force Majeure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ISVPS is not liable for any breach of Contract between ourselves and Candidates caused by matters beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to industrial or transport related disputes, weather of exceptional or unusual severity, acts of local or central government or other authorities, war, flood, fire or interruption of electricity supply.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 1<\/strong><strong>0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u2013<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Termination<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ISVPS can terminate the Contract if:<\/p>\n<p>10.1 the Candidate materially or persistently breaches the terms of the Contract;<\/p>\n<p>10.2 the Candidate fails to make punctual payment of any Fees in accordance with the Contract;<\/p>\n<p>10.3 ISVPS becomes aware that the Candidate (i) is the subject of a bankruptcy order (or any other equivalenting any other jurisdiction), (ii) has become insolvent or makes any arrangement or takes any action in that respect, (iii) or makes arrangements for the benefit of its creditors (iv) or if any of its assets are subject of any form of seizure;<\/p>\n<p>10.4 in relation to corporate Customers, ISVPS can terminate this Contract if Customer becomes insolvent, enters into any form of winding up or arrangement with its creditors or becomes voluntarily or compulsorily bankrupt, or if a receiver or administrative receiver or administrator is appointed;<\/p>\n<p>10.5 Failure to exercise, or delay in exercising, any rights under the Contract shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights, nor shall it prejudice any subsequent exercise thereof.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 1<\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u2013 Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>11.1<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The extent of the parties\u2019 liability under or in connection with the Contract (regardless of whether such liability arises in tort, contract or in any other way and whether or not caused by negligence or misrepresentation) shall be as set out in this clause 11.<\/p>\n<p>11.2\u202fSubject to clause 11.4, ISVPS\u2019s total liability to the Customer or any Candidate shall not exceed, in aggregate, the amounts paid by such Customer or Candidate (as is the case) in relation to the Services.<\/p>\n<p>11.3\u202fSubject to clause 11.4, ISVPS shall not be liable for consequential, indirect or special losses.<\/p>\n<p>11.4\u202fNothing in this Contract shall be construed as restricting or excluding ISVPS\u2019s liability for death or personal injury resulting from ISVPS\u2019s negligence, or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or, any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.<\/p>\n<p>11.5\u202fExcept as expressly set out in the Contract, ISVPS makes no representations or warranties regarding the Services, except for those that cannot be excluded or limited by law. All other warranties and conditions, whether statutory or implied, are excluded to the extent permitted under applicable law.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 12\u00a0&#8211; Complaints and Dispute Resolution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please refer to ISVPS Candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isvps.org\/p\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ISVPS-Complaint-Procedure-Website-Version.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Complaints Procedure<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. If the Candidate is not satisfied with any aspect of the Service, they can make a complaint by following the detailed procedure.<\/p>\n<p>If any dispute arises in connection with this Contract, the parties agree to act in good faith and attempt to resolve the dispute between the parties in the first instance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 1<\/strong><strong>3<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u2013 General<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>13.1 For the purposes of this Contract, any notice required, necessary or permitted to be given by either party shall be in writing to the email address which at the time has been provided to the other party for the purposes of this Contract or addressed to the other party at its registered office or principal place of business or such other address as may at the relevant time have been notified under this provision to the party giving the notice.<\/p>\n<p>13.2 If any provision of this Contract is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions shall not be affected.<\/p>\n<p>13.3<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>These Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy may be amended at any time by ISVPS.<\/p>\n<p>13.4 ISVPS may at any time, and without notifying the Candidate or the Customer, make any changes to the Services that are necessary to comply with any applicable safety or other statutory requirements, which do not materially affect the nature or quality of that Services.<\/p>\n<p>13.5 Except as expressly provided for in this clause 13.5, a person who is not a party to the Contract shall not have any rights to enforce any of the provisions of the Contract, PROVIDED THAT any company within the Improve International Group shall be entitled to enforce any of the provisions of the Contract. The consent of any such entity is not required in order to rescind or vary the Contract or any provision of it.<\/p>\n<p>13.6 The parties are independent persons and are not partners, principal and agent or employer and employee and the Contract does not establish any joint venture, trust, fiduciary or other relationship between them, other than the contractual relationship expressly provided for in it. None of the parties shall have, nor shall represent that they have, any authority to make any commitments on the other party\u2019s behalf.<\/p>\n<p>13.7 The Contract shall be construed so that all of its provisions are effective and valid under applicable law; but if any of the provisions of the Contract are held by competent authority to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, in whole or in part, the validity in part of them and of the remaining provisions of this Contract shall remain valid unaffected.<\/p>\n<p>13.8 The parties agree that the Contract constitutes the entire agreement between them and supersedes all previous agreements, understandings and arrangements between them, whether in writing or oral in respect of its subject matter.<\/p>\n<p>13.9 Each party acknowledges that it has not entered into the Contract in reliance on, and shall have no remedies in respect of, any representation or warranty that is not expressly set out in the Contract. No party shall have any claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation on the basis of any statement in the Contract.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 1<\/strong><strong>4<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u2013 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Contract and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with it, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.<\/p>\n<p>The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, the Contract.<\/p>\n<p>Continued use of our website and\/or Services will signify your acceptance of the latest version of terms of use and this agreement.<\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">These Terms &amp; Conditions shall be prepared and interpreted in the English language. Any translation is provided for convenience only. In the event of any conflict, inconsistency or difference of interpretation between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Version 2, October 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These terms and conditions apply to purchase of all services provided by the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies.
