This certificate is aimed to refresh the knowledge gained during the course of the vet undergraduate studies and continuing professional development. The certificate is also ideal as an addition to other more extensive ones, such as the GPCert award, to enhance the knowledge in that specific area of interest. It was developed for veterinary professionals attending a fast-track program wishing to gain a first step, middle-tier, peer recognised qualification. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>This qualification can be achieved following the completion of a dedicated modular training program accredited by ISVPS and successful completion of the required ISVPS assessment. The Foundation Certificate assessment can be undertaken upon course completion at a time to suit the candidate thus providing increased flexibility of award attainment.<\/p>\n<p>The value of the Foundation Certificate is that it allows the veterinarians who achieved it to immediately apply their newly gained knowledge and explore the topics within veterinary medicine that they are most interested in. It also provides the opportunity to complete more than one certificate and experiment in different subject areas of the veterinary field before potentially moving towards a next-level qualification such as the ISVPS GPCert award. _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>To achieve the FCert(E&#038;CC) candidates are required to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend the ISVPS-accredited modular training programme (ALL modules must be attended)<\/li>\n<li>Sit an online remote-invigilated multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination (1 hour)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The required study has been calculated around 4 hrs per module.<\/p>\n<p>On successful attainment of the FCert(E&#038;CC) candidates are awarded a personalised certificate.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<b>What if I am not successful in passing the examination?<\/b><br \/>\nCandidates will have up to three attempts available within the two years, starting from the moment they complete the course and there is no mandatory waiting period between attempts.<\/p>\n<p>Should a candidate remain unsuccessful following three attempts, they will not be eligible for the ISVPS FCert and will receive an Improve International certificate of course completion only.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.0&#8243;
